ACCC: No obvious petrol price fixing

Posted at 12:10 on 18 December, 2007

An Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) inquiry has found no "obvious" evidence of price fixing in the unleaded petrol market. Do you believe that?

26 Jan 09 Why is it so expensive at the pump now even though oil is half the price it was at it's peek.... this is blatant rip off by an industry of the masses and you know what... we let them do it, we let our government let them do it. We don't protest, don't write letters(that might make you a crackpot), don't insist on "real" alternative fuels (not that clean coal baloney) Good old Australian Complacency ... yeah that will help! Bend over everyone!

They have proven themselves to be servants to the wealthy and at best are toothless. WHAT A JOKE OF AN ORGANISATION.
