The ALP have won government comfortably with a significant swing across the country leading to notable Coalition candidates losing their seats. Are you surprised or was it expected?

Not at all surprised! and if the Libs didn't see it coming, it just proves how out of touch they were/are. The IR and AWA were not popular, for obvious reasons! The workers don't deserve to be screwed and I'm glad that they showed it so overwhelmingly in the election. Anon |

kevin rudd is an evil moralist ,drinking is bad .smoking is bad .drugs are bad .he may be right but he will prove more dull and even less charismatic than lame johny ,the question is can labour come up with a real leader when rudd implodes ,diametricaly can the liberal party show leadership that is not based around the same old boring small buisness homilies (i know i cant spell) australia is not run by small shop keepers and successive aus governments have done all but make small ventures nigh on illiegal in this place ,the liberal party is not going to win friends and influence people through "internatalism" .The liberals could win the next election by getting rid of elements of policy they have created and tried and perhaps proved wrong .at the end of the day no one likes a hypocrite and most will not be ruled by wousers rupert de bear ESQ |

Kevin Rudd is such a major TWIT. He only focuses on spending the money that the LIBERAL PARTY (the good guys) saved up in the first place. He is putting interest rates up WAY TOO HIGH for absolutely NO REASON AT ALL!!! Who in their right state of mind would vote for him?! I hope Australia as a nation figures out that they've made a MASSIVE mistake. Are we going to fall for another person that just goes around making FALSE promises..? I hope not. Thats all his campaign was, a few dodgy promises and kind (NOT) words, shake a few hands, kiss a few babies.. CLICHE BAD GUY ACT!! I seriously don't understand why so many people fell for this.
