New leader of the Liberal Party?

Posted at 16:38 on 26 November, 2007

Brendan Nelson, Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull have all thrown their hat in the ring, but who's the best choice to lead the Liberal Party in opposition?

25 Nov 07 turnbull is their only option and not even a great one. they are going to beo pposition for a while unless labour mess things up or there is a global recession that noone can avoid?
What next?
25 Nov 07 Turnbull for me too. Nelson is a no one and Abbott is just bizarre.
zzzz
27 Nov 07 Turnbull for sure. And I love how the media are beating this up to make out the Libs are all at sea when in fact so far they've been orderly and theres no appearance of any nastiness or vitriol unlike the plethora of labor leadership spills over the years.

11 Dec 07 Quite frankly, neither one of those three! They are really too full of themselves to be of any service to the ordinary Australian! I dread to think what would have happened to the workers had they been voted back to office! and make no mistake, they would welcome slave labour if they thought they could get away with it. The people and their welfare MUST always come first - no exceptions! And, moreover, politicians should be paid according to their performance, as they suggest for teachers! then there wouldn't be too many after the job - and ain't that a fact!
