Ben Cousins vs the cops - who's in the right? Does he still deserve a spot in the AFL? Would you contract tainted goods?

21 Oct 07 How many chances does this guy need? It's obvious he should find a career away from the media spotlight if he wants to dabble in less-than-socially-acceptable practises.

21 Oct 07 Unfortunately, Cousin's case is not a single example of proceeding with criminal charges without sufficient evidence and making public details of allegations unsupported by legal evidence. In Queensland, Vincent Berg's and some other cases are not less alarming. It seems that the rule of law and respect to legal evidence and individual human rights such as presumption of innocence and privacy are in danger of being replaced by "witch hunt" practices.
