The infamous Big Brother 'turkey slapping' caused a stir in Australia, but it might have been trumped with Big Brother South Africa airing footage of a married man allegedly sexually assaulting a near-comatose drunk woman who had passed out. Richard Bezuidenhout finally desisted the apparent digital rape of Ofunneka Molokwu after another housemate plead with him to stop. Can the producers be held responsible for plying their charges with alcohol? Or is Big Brother simply magnifying problems that exist in our societies?
