Costello: Australia should increase foreign aid

Tim Costello, World Vision chief and brother of treasurer/PM-hopeful Peter, favours the ALP's foreign aid policy which bumps up our spend from 0.35% GDP to 0.5% GDP. He believes that poverty is the new slavery. Some say that your can judge a government by how it treats the less fortunate, but we have problems at home. What's your call? Increase our foreign aid, leave it as is, or reduce it?
